JFK Airport Take Airtrain $5 to the subway station at Jamaica. rom Jamaica: take the E train to 42nd Street. Walk underground for a block and a half to the 2 or 3 line. Take the uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. Exit on Lenox Avenue, walk three blocks to 121st Street. Cost: $2.25 Time: Door-to-door approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.Alternate route: Taxi from the airport. Cost: $45 (flat fee) + toll ($5). Time: 35 – 40 minutes. Tell the driver to take the Triborough/RFK Bridge.

LaGuardia Airport Take the M60 bus to Lenox (Sixth) Avenue and 125th Street. From there it is a five minute walk to the bed and breakfast. Cost: $2.25 in coins or metrocard. Time: 30 minutes on the bus. Extra for waiting and walkingAlternate option: A yellow cab costs about $25 + plus tolls ($5). Time: 15 – 20 .

Newark International Airport

Option 1 Take the Olympia bus to the Port Authority bus terminal at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue (about 30 – 45 minutes depending on traffic). Then walk along 42nd Street from Eighth Avenue to Seventh Avenue (Times Square). Take the Uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. From there it is about a five minute walk to bed and breakfast. Cost of bus: $15, Cost of subway: $2.25, or you could catch a cab from midtown (42nd Street): about $15.

Option 2 Take the AirTrain/NJ transit to New York Penn Station (about 35 minutes). Transfer to theUptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. From there it is about a five minute walk to bed and breakfast. Cost of train: $15, Cost of subway: $2.25

Option 3 Take any cab, which can cost from $50 – $70 (plus tolls $11). Be careful with this option, as the cab drivers from New Jersey may not know the City that well and your fare may get even higher. Very expensive option.

Option 4 Set up a pick-up by Carmel Limo Cost $43 – $50 (depending on time of day), tolls ($11) and tip not included.

Port Authority Bus Terminal Take the 2 or 3 (Uptown) train to 116th Street. Walk up Lenox Avenue, turn right on West 120th Street. Make sure you do not take the 1 or 9 train.
