The Lowell Hotel

A refined 74 room hotel, The Lowell welcomes guests with a serene residential atmosphere reminiscent of a private townhouse. With only 47 suites and 27 deluxe rooms, this landmark building prides itself on being one of the few luxury hotels that has accommodations with real wood burning fireplaces, terraces and fully equipped kitchens. The way in which the hotel welcomes guests, attend to them during their stay and remember them when they come back is the essence of The Lowell.

Accommodations

Deluxe Guestroom- Featuring beautiful courtyard views, these quiet rooms are approximately 400 square feet. The rooms have spacious marble bathrooms with a shower and bathtub combination, a full service kitchen, and a large working desk. Available with the choice of a king or two twin sized beds.

Lowell Room- The Lowell Rooms feature Crema Marfil and Breccia Rosia marble bathrooms with a deep soaking tub and separate stall showers with flat screen televisions. Approximately 400 square feet, the rooms have an oversized working desk and a newly designed granite-topped kitchenette. Available with the choice of a king or two twin sized beds.

One Bedroom Suites- Spanning over 800 square feet in size, the suites are truly residential with a separate living room, some with wood burning fireplaces and a full service kitchen. The spacious marble bathrooms have a bathtub and shower combination.

Two Bedroom Suites- Each guest bedroom has luxurious wall to wall carpeting and custom designed furniture. The suites span over 1,200 square feet and are on the 10th and 11th floor. Each suite features a wood burning fireplace and the suites on the 10th floor have private outdoor terraces.

Penthouse Suites

Located on the 17th floor of the hotel, this luxurious Penthouse Suite offers guests an exceptional residential experience with two or three bedrooms, four private terraces, a wood-burning fireplace, three bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and a dining conservatory all of which reflect Smith’s celebrated signature style. The master bedroom features hand-painted DeGournay wallpaper from Italy and a Selene Italian Marble bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub, separate stall shower and two flat screen televisions.

Fitness Center

The Hotel also has a 24 hour fitness gym for those who are into waorking out and health conscious guests. The gym features innovative and modern gym facilities.

Head northwest and continue straight onto LaGuardia Access Rd. Take the ramp on the left onto Grand Central Pkwy and merge onto Grand Central Pkwy. Continue onto I-278 E and take exit 46 toward Manhattan/Randalls Is. Continue onto Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and take the F D R Dr S exit on the left. Continue onto FDR Drive and take exit 12 for E 63 St toward Roosevelt Island/New York/Queensboro Bridge. Merge onto E 63rd St. The travel time is 1 hour.

From John F. Kennedy International Airport

Head south on I-678 S toward Exit B and take exit B toward 130th Pl. Keep right at the fork and merge onto 130th Pl and turn right onto Bergen Rd.At Federal Cir, take the 4th exit onto the I-678 N ramp and Take exit 12B for Interstate 495 W/Long Is Expwytoward Midtown Tun. Merge onto I-495 W and take the exit toward E 37th St. Keep left and merge onto E 37th St and merge onto E 37th St. Turn right onto 3rd Ave and turn left onto E 63rd St. The travel time is 1 hour.
