Margot Guest House

The Margot Guest House offers a charming and affordable alternative to the high prices and often ordinary experience of staying in New York City. Located in an historic, diversified, and still-old fashioned neighborhood. We are steps from Central Park and the start of Museum Mile and within easy walking distance of many of the most important cultural and tourist attractions of Manhattan. Our rooms are lovely, romantic, comfortable, and immaculate.

Accommodation

The rooms aren't any in any sense perfunctory rooms for strangers. We have tried hard to make each guest room room warm, charming, and simple, so that you will have an attractive and yet unclattered atmosphere to relax in at the end of a long day. Many guets have told us they felt like they were in a cute hotel in France, rather than in New York, and in fact that was our inspiration - the beautiful, old-fashioned, and inexpensive little hotels until recently found throughout Paris.

Keep left at the fork, follow signs for 2 Ave/125 Street. Turn right onto East 125th St/Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Turn left at the 3rd cross street onto Lexington Avenue. Destination will be on the right. Travel time will be 30 minutes.

By Subway

From LaGuardia Airport, take a walk to LaGuardia Internal Roadway/Terminal B. Take M60-SBS towards West Side Bway – 106 Street which will take 4 stops. Drop by 2 Av/E 125 Street and take subway towards SOUTH FERRY via 2 AV which will take 7 stops. Drop by at 2 Av/E 106 Street and walk towards Margot Guest House. Head northeast on 2nd Avenue toward East 106th Street. Turn left onto East 106th Street. Turn right onto Lexington Avenue. Destination will be on the left. Travel time will be 1 hour.

From Newark Liberty International Airport

By Car

Head southeast, Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Parking A/Parking B/Parking C. Slight left toward Newark International Airport Street. Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-78 E. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 78 E/Interstate 95/New Jersey Turnpike/Holland Tunnel/New York City. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-78 E/I-95/U.S. 1-9 N and merge onto I-78 E. Take the exit toward Interstate 95 N/NJ Turkpike N/Interstate 95 S/NJ Turnpike S. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 95 N and merge onto I-95 N. Keep left at the fork to stay on I-95 N, follow signs for Toll Plaza EZPass. Take the exit to stay on I-95 N toward US-46/Fort Lee/G Washington Bridge. Keep right at the fork to stay on I-95 N, follow signs for George Washington Bridge/Fort Lee. Drop by at New York Penn Station and take a walk to 34 St - Penn Station and take a bus towards Harlem - 148 Street which will take 4 stops. Drop by at Central Park North (110 St) and walk to Margot Guest House. Head southwest on Lenox Ave/Malcolm X Blvd toward West 111th Street. Turn left onto West 111th Street. Turn right onto Lexington Avenue. Destination will be on the right. Travel time will be 1 hour and 20 minutes.
