Reviews of Ondekaremba in Windhoek Namibia

We were to start our trip to Namibia on the ranch and had a nice, new, very spacious room overlooking the garden. The staff was very friendly. There on the farm a few well-marked trails, a shelter overlooking a waterhole and others.

In the afternoon there was coffee and homemade cakes and a chat with the farm owners. The dinner was also served in the family circle. We were the only guests that evening. The only slight downside, there was no mosquito net over the bed, but that annoying mosquitoes in the room.

Since we had an early departure, we chose Ondekaremba for the last night before flying out. The rooms are not mentioned exactly pretty, but very clean and functional. Particularly noteworthy is that the rooms have hair dryer, heating and have an umbrella.

There was coffee and homemade cakes in the afternoon and dinner take all guests to share a fireplace. The hosts are very nice people and the staff is also friendly and welcoming.

We did spend our last night on one of the 4 beautiful campsites, which are located 5 minutes away from the farm house. There is a small swimming pool just for the campers; it is great to relax but too small for swimming. There are several marked walking trails on the farm (from 2-14 km).The dinner was a bit of a disappointment, overcooked and not very nice presented.
