Reviews of Hotel ThueringerHof in Windhoek Namibia

Hotel is located near U-Bahn station "Alser straße" (just 1 minute by foot, U6 line, goes every 5 minutes). Hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are non-smoking, and there are 2 basic types of rooms: the ones facing the street and ones facing the park. When checking in, they give you keys of both types of rooms, so you can see for yourself what better suits you. They also say that the rooms facing street are noisier, but I had no trouble sleeping, although the street tram was passing through that street.

Rooms are very clean, they are cleaned every day. Bathroom is just right size, with hair dryer. Rooms have a TV. Another great thing is FREE Wi-Fi internet in whole hotel, and there is also computer with web cam in lobby.

Breakfast buffet is fantastic, and there is always food and drinks. There is also a bar, that works all day.
Security is taken very seriously, hotel is locked after midnight, and if you come later, you must show room ID to the doorman. There is also safe in your room.

All in all, very pleasant stay in this hotel!

The Thüringer Hof was founded by a true-Thuringian, which is stuck in Vienna - the stamp it bears three pines from the Thuringian Forest ... The staff is extremely courteous and the magnificent Viennese humor. Upon arrival, we were encouraged to express our wishes - a hot tub was not in it (and was not too serious), but a quiet room at the back. The breakfast is standard and perfectly adequate, the bread delicious, but hands off the scrambled eggs ... All in all a pleasant hotel with a very "cool" staff, including a friendly match on the Viennese.

We stayed in Thueringer Hof at the begining of september, 2007, and we were very satisfied by our choice. The hotel's staff is very friendly, willing to guide us whenever we asked for indications for the touristic objectives of Vienna. The breakfast was excellent every morning. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels and sheets changed very often, too. The only thing missing was a balcony, but we really didn't mind that too much. As for the location, this hotel is extremely close to the subway station AlserStrasse. Also, next to it you can find one of the greatest places to eat in Vienna, CENTIMETER.

The hotel is very good for its price. Although it isn't located right in the center of the city, it is very close to the U-Bahn-station, that's why it's no problem to get fast to the every spot of Vienna. Cleanness, stuff, breakfast - everything is very good and justifies the price. So I would recommend the hotel to everyone who wants to stay in Vienna and get stressless place to stay for good price.
