Reviews of Solitaire Country Lodge in Solitaire Namibia

I fell in love with this place, a small paradise in the middle of nowhere. We had a very friendly welcome, the rooms are very spacious, very clean, all set around a small pool. The restaurant is excellent, buffet breakfast input, 4 or 5 kinds of meat grilled and tasty with roast kudu and springbok and finally a delicious crumble and a great black forest, we believe, comes from the pastry village. Favourite for our trip to Namibia!

When we arrived there was a party at the bar and the music was very loud. The rooms were dirty and dilapidated, we ate our second meal the following day and the prices had tripled over night and the food was of poor standard. The staff was unhelpful and occupied. The country store was decently stocked with snacks, the prices weren't that inflated.
