Reviews of Burgsdorf Guestfarm in Maltahohe Namibia

In September we visited the Burgdorf Guest Farm and were very happy with this decision. On the 13,000 acres crisscrossed by red sand dunes farm cattle and goats are reared. Originating from the colonial era buildings have been lovingly restored, and make the farm Burgdorf a green oasis in the arid zone. The cuisine is traditional Namibian, with emphasis on game.

Dinner was super delicious; we had 3 different game specialties. There is a beautiful garden and large swimming pool, there are 9 spacious rooms and 8 of the rooms are equipped with 2 single beds, one with double bed. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a sitting area with table and chairs and a small terrace with garden furniture. On our visit were the cheetah already one year old and act like well-behaved pets.

We enjoyed our stay at Burgsdorf Guest farm, the farm is located in a secluded area of Namibia. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is stunning. The host and staff were companionable and very helpful, the food was tasty.
