Reviews of Die Dam Gobabis in Gobabis Namibia

The so called Bush Experience was just over rated, we didn’t venture out of the place for more than 200 metres and only three spoor were pointed out. There should just call it a stroll into the nearby bushes not Bush Experience, we didn’t see any animals and no insight into the Bushman’s lifestyle.
When the owner discovered that we were from Botswana, he just said this sort of thing is meant for overseas visitors. The rooms were very clean and tidy, but we were expecting to be accommodated in a Bushman’s hut, am convinced the so called “kudu steaks” were beef. This place is just a lame excuse of a camp.

Of all the camps I’ve been to Die Dam is the best, the campsite is well equipped with electric lights, hot showers and flush toilets. The owner had time for us there came for a chat and it was heart-warming, the staff was hands on and friendly. The campsite is close to the main road.
