Reviews of Namutoni in Etosha Park Namibia

When we arrived at this camp the staff had no interest in welcoming or checking us in, they just did it because they had no choice, otherwise given a choice they could have kicked us out. The camp is need of some TLC, the grass is over grown, the wooden stairs in the fort are closed as there are dangerous, the paint is peeling off and the rooms are inadequate to the guests to say the least.

The staff is petty little thieves they short changed us on two occasions unaware that we were well aware of the currency conversions. The room air conditioner leaked water so we had to turn it off making the room stuffy and hot our friend’s toilet was not working but the food was delicious.

Etosha is lovely place with stunning scenery and wildlife, Namutoni Camp is decent and reasonable priced but some rooms are in need of urgent refurbishment and the staff was rude and unfriendly and they had no idea what customer care is all about.

The worst for me were the power cuts and network problems, the EFT machine had a fault all the time and the staff didn’t care less all they wanted was you to settle the bill one way or the other. Management should do something about their staff’s attitude towards guests after all we pay their bills (salaries).
