Tenda Tora is located 180 Km's North of Maputo (By tar road) - 90 Km's South of Xai-Xai (By tar road). We offer up market self catering accommodation and to reach us a 4 x 4 is not required. Located within walking distance from the beach, the units feature air-conditioning with clean linen and luxury square mosquito nets. For guests' convenience, the houses are serviced daily at no additional fee and feature 24-hour security, as well as municipal electricity. Accommodation at Tenda Tora All bedrooms are air conditioned and each chalet has its own plunge pool & braai (Barbeque) with 24 hr security guards, full DSTV (smart card included) and great views of the ocean and salt water lagoon.

Comfortable beds, clean fresh linen, bath & hand towels, large square Mozzie nets and fully equipped self-catering kitchen with fridge / freezer, stove / oven and all cutlery / crockery. Municipal electricity and borehole water supplied by pressure pumps.

6x Sleeper Chalets (3 bedrooms)
- Bedroom 1: Air conditioned, queen size bed, Large square mosquito net, clean linen, two bedside lamps, mirror, 2 x hand towels, 2 x bath towels, cupboard with draws and hangers.
- Bedroom 2: Air conditioned, queen size bed, Large square mosquito net, clean linen, two bedside lamps, mirror, 2 x hand towels, 2 x bath towels, cupboard with draws and hangers.

- Bedroom 3: Air conditioned, 2 x single beds (apart), 2 x mosquito nets, clean linen, 2 x hand towels, 2 x bath towels, cupboard with draws and hangers.
Bathroom
1 x bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, hand basin and mirror. Borehole water is heated by an electric geyser and pressured by electric pressure pumps with a backup generator.

Open Plan Kitchen is equipped with an electric fridge with freezer compartment, gas stove / oven and a microwave oven is present in most units. Other kitchen facilities include kettle, toaster, pots, pan, cutlery, crockery, utensils, braai tongs etc…
The open plan lounge / dining area accommodates up to 6 guests, has full DSTV (smart card included), breakfast nook, safe and 2 - 4 bar stools.

There is a covered patio, great views of the lagoon and the ocean, plunge pool with martini seat, built-in braai (barbeque), 1 x table and 6 x chairs.
Behind and next to the chalet is secure parking for 2 cars and trailers guarded by 24 hour security and it is in a safe area. Additional parking is available. The chalet is serviced once daily and a laundry service is available on request.

8 x 4 Sleeper Chalets (2 bedrooms)
- Bedroom 1: Air conditioned, queen size bed, Large square mosquito net, clean linen, two bedside lamps, mirror, safe, 2 x hand towels, 2 x bath towels, built-in cupboard and table.
- Bedroom 2: Air conditioned, 2 x single beds (twin), Large square mosquito net, clean linen, two bedside lamps, mirror, 2 x hand towels, 2 x bath towels, built-in cupboard and table.

1x Bathroom (2 units have an additional bathroom)
1 x bathroom has a shower, toilet, hand basin and mirror. Borehole water is heated by an electric geyser and pressured by electric pressure pumps with a backup generator.

There is housekeeping once daily and a laundry service is available on request. The open plan lounge / dining area seats 4 guests, it has a breakfast nook or table, 2 bar stools, chairs and full DSTV (smart card included).

Where is Tenda Tora?
From Maputo, take the EN1 left to Xai-Xai for approximately 150 km. At Macia, turn right for approximately 33 km to Praia do Bilene. At the traffic circle, take the third exit and turn left at the T-junction.
Continue past both filling stations and turn left after the market at the Mahungo / Nhabanga sign. Take the first right and immediately first right again. We are located on the left-hand side, 600 m off the main road.
