In the most picturesque area of Mozambique, the province of Inhambane lies its pearl, Sonho Lindo a mere 13 km from the Vilanculos International Airport. Sonho can be reached either by road or air. The area of Vilanculos, situated in a wildlife sanctuary, is blessed with unspoilt beaches, magnificent coral reefs, with one of the worlds best underwater realms and spectacular landscapes with the white sands of the Magaruque and Bazaruto Islands shimmering in the distance. Accommodation at Sonho Lindo Estate The house is approximately 7km North of Vilanculos and can accommodate a total of 7-8 people.

The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the 2nd bedroom has 3 single beds and there are 2 single bed size benches in the living room.
The unit is fully furnished, it consists of a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area, 2 bedroom on-suite with verandah, 1 bathroom, large deck and swimming pool. Electricity is supplied by a generator and the freezer, fridge, outside braai, geyser, stove are all powered by gas.

Guests would be spoilt for choice at the number of activities offered at Sonho Lindo. Island drives will allow you to explore the abundant and exquisite bird life. Local tours will also take you to historical sites.
The crystal clear water immediately brings scuba diving to mind. The exotic underwater world abounding with butterfly fish, Moorish idols, box fish, goldies and many more swim gently among the beautiful coloured corals and sponges.

If snorkelling is your thing, you can explore a number of safe coral reef enclosed bays. If you prefer to stay above the water, you try a number of water sports, such as skiing, wind surfing, sailing and many more.
You cold do some island hopping or have your picnic on Pansy Island. The most beautiful and delicate shells can be collected on Pansy Islands.

Glide peacefully and silently in a traditional Arab dhow and search for the islands flamingos along the coastline. If you are lucky you may come across a highly endangered sirenian, often referred to as "sea cows" or "mermaids". Deep Sea Fishing is also an exciting option.
Many different types of kingfish and queen fish can be caught as well as king, queen and Spanish Mackerel. To avoid depleting the ocean of these fish, it is advisable to catch and release them, after the photo shoot of course.

If all these activities sound too exhausting for you, you could always swim in the warm ocean, recline on a deck chair, sip cocktails and eat fresh crayfish or calamari.
