Praia de Peixe is situated only a few kilometres along the Mozambique coast to the north of Maputo in the quiet little village of Macaneta Beach. Here you will find some of the safest, untouched beaches in Mozambique with the warm, crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Shaded campsites are mere metres away from the beach and will give you the experience of owning your own piece of paradise.
We offer a variety of accommodation types. Whether you camp, or stay in tented chalets or chalets, our friendly, diligent Mozambique staff will always ensure that all your needs are attended to during your stay. We are proud of the fact that Praia de Peixe has a reputation of zero malaria incidents and we strive to maintain this reputation through daily pesticide control.
Chalets
We have 5 Chalets comprising of:
3 X 6 Sleepers
1 X 4 Sleeper
1 X 5 sleeper and 1 X 2 Sleeper.
Camping
We have 18 x Caravan and Tent Spots, with ablutions. Electricity available
at a fee.
The ablution facilities are of the highest standard and hot and cold water are in abundance.

After crossing the five minute ferry ride across the Nkomati River to Macaneta, you will need a 4X4 or 2X4 with diff-lock to get to Praia de Peixe. For easy riding, adjust the tyre pressure to 0.8 bar. If you have travelled to Mozambique in a sedan, your vehicle can be left at the ferry for an additional fee. This needs to be arranged with security at the ferry and is not the reasonability of Praia de Peixe. Praia de Peixe will collect you at the ferry at a cost of 200metts p/p return.
