Surrounded by coconut tress and sandy white beaches with tourquise coloured waters Ponta Morrungulo is a perfect place to stay while in Morrungulo Bay. You can either spend your holiday sipping coctails and daydreaming on the beach or you can be adventurous trying other activities which include; deepsea fishing, suba diving, and snorkeling.
An abundant variety of bird life thrives in this rich tropical habitat and you can see birds like the collared palm thrush, reen coucal, European crab plover, malachite kingfisher, hammerkop, fish eagles, paradise flycatchers and many more.
Ponta Morrungulo caters for individuals and families as well as deep sea and surf fisherman, suba diver and snorkelers. Whatever your holiday need you are sure to find it here.
While camping you can enjoy good facilities such as clean, tiled ablution with Gas geysers showers and flushing toilets. The water is fresh and drinkable.

Accomodation:

(4 sleeper) There are 7 of these particular chalets right on the beach front. They have a kitchen/dining area, one hot and cold gas shower and separate toilet, 2 bedrooms each sleeping 2 people. The chalet is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS and toiletries, as these are not supplied.

There is also the provision in the dining area to fold down the benches to accommodate another 2 guests. Should there be more than 4 people utilising the chalet there is an additional charge N.B. Clients must bring their own mattresses/nets/bedding for extra guests. Tents are not permitted in chalet grounds.

There are 7 double storey units situated on the rise behind the chalets. These have 2 bedrooms (1 double bedroom downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs) Kitchen/dining area, one hot and cold gas shower and separate toilet. The casita is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets, sheets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN TOWELS and toiletries, as these are not supplied.
There is also the provision in the dining area to fold down the benches to accommodate another 2 guests. Should there be more than 4 people utilising the chalet there is an additional charge. N.B. There are 4 of these open thatched 5m x 4m concrete floored structures that each have a power point (5 amp), light and shelving. Most campers utilise these as a central living area and camp around the barraca.
We also offer camping in demarcated lawned campsites for approximately 100 people under the shade of coconut and indigenous trees. Plug points are also available. Ablution blocks are fully tiled and equipped with gas hot water showers - Bring your own toilet paper as this is not supplied.

The hottest time of the year is November to March, the rest of the months the weather is still pleasant with the days been nice and warm and the nights slightly cooler.
