This island resort is just a 15-minute flight from Maputo is a fantastic place to unwind, great accommodation for families, honeymoons, or weekend escapes. The lodge can host weddings and conferences, accommodating up to 80 people

Inhaca lodge is located on the beach front, amongst coconut palm groves and luxuriant tropical vegetation, Pestana Inhaca Lodge is famous for its wonderful gardens, its warm hospitality and fabulous sea food.

Inhaca Island is easily accessible by boat or ferry from the capital of Mozambique, Maputo.

Accommodation is nestled between isolated white sandy beaches and the un-spoilt rustic beauty of the bush. Beach front comfortable chalets, safari tents, classic rustic backpackers and luxury bush camping, are located in a safe and quiet environment with a package of free activities included in the price.

Chalets
The comfortable beach front Chalets are spacious and private, with a rustic traditional design. Optional is en suite outdoor and indoor with toilet & showers. Eco-friendly program supplies Solar energy for lights, fans, laptops, and cell phones (using S.A. two & three pin plugs). Plenty of air circulation and fans are included. Mosquito nets are available on request.

All seven chalets, are en suite, optional is open air with flower beds or indoor, spacious toilet & shower. The sea view veranda offers a traditional bed, outdoor chairs, tables, hammock so you can sit back enjoy complimentary tea or coffee in the peace of your own private paradise

Backpackers
Classic Backpackers, Safari Tents & luxury Camping have two sets of outside ablution blocks in the main Camp & Beach Camp. There is also a shower & changing room on the beach. Laundry facilities are available.

The self-catering area has two fully equipped communal kitchens at the Main Camp and a Barbeque on the beach. Budget catering with a shop at main camp supplying basic groceries and also curios. A restaurant service is supplied without a restaurant; do order your meals in advance, it will be prepared and served at the Barbeque on the beach.

Safari Tents
Each has locally hand made furniture, two single beds with linen, lamp and fan with a veranda. Outdoor open air ablutions.

Each campsite: Recreation area (shade) , chairs, table, Electrical plug, Flask of hot water, Paraffin lamp, 25L drinking water, refuse bin, barbeque, charcoal, shade cloth and a rubber mat for your tent. Two sleeper tents are available for rent. Outdoor open air ablutions.

- Experience the best water sports activities Mozambique has to offer at Pemba Dive & Bush Camp. We are in a prime location for avid scuba diver. Pemba has a range of hard and soft coral to satisfy your underwater viewing delight.
In addition to this, divers can expect to see a variety of marine life including whales and dolphins. Anyone can scuba dive at Pemba Dive & Bush Camp even if you’ve never done it before. We provide diving equipment and a professional dive master to instruct and coach you all the way.

The objective is to provide safety, peace and quiet in this playground. This is a nature estate with a well-balanced ecosystem designed to be friendly for visitors. Do welcome our residents (insects, birds, etc) here, we have not had any problems although we would love to hear of any sightings. Quote Kingsley Holgate “Best base camp in Northern Mozambique”.

Atmosphere – Wake up listening to the fishermen sing their traditional African blessings, with a rhythmic drum beat made by their oars as they row out to sea, accompanied with numerous singing birds sheltered in the trees and monkeys chattering the events of the day.

Pemba Dive & Bush Camp is nestled in a 40 acre nature estate overlooking the third largest natural bay in the world, the idyllic Pemba Bay. The bay is renowned as being the prime destination for water sports activities and scuba diving in Mozambique.

Guests have long been attracted to the area in the past, in particular Pemba Dive & Bush Camp, because of the rustic setting that is offered right on the beach. One is able to relax in the natural surroundings owing to the secluded location of the accommodation. Guests have the option of self-catering bungalows or Safari Tents, each offering unrivalled comfort.

FREE activities include: kayaking through the mangroves, archery, axe throwing, snorkeling, bird watching, nature walks, wall climbing baobab, jogging trails, volleyball, trampoline, tree house and Mud bath - with plenty more to discover!
