Macaneta Holiday Resort is situated a mere 35 kilometers along the coast to the north of Maputo in the district of Marracuene. Macaneta is an island between the Inkomati River and the Indian Ocean and can be reached with a four wheel drive vehicle. it is five minute ferry ride cross the Nkomati River and then eight kilometers along a sand track. Macaneta beach offers stunning sea views. There is easy access to restaurants and local attractions.

The resort has the safest beach, temperate water and stunning scenery for miles around. The resort is famous for its warm hospitality and the most excellent seafood prepared in our restaurant. The restaurant caters for your cuisine needs with fresh seafoods dominating the menu. Enjoy the sunset and the view over Inkomati River, while you relish the fresh prawns, calamari and fresh line fish. You will experience a relaxed atmosphere and gracious hospitality.
