If you are coming from the capital city of Mozambique, Maputo, or from the southern side of Africa, and your destination is Bilene’s Beach, you will be amazed with beautiful landscape, in which the red color of the African earth, contrasts with the dark green of a tropical savanna almost untouched.

As a matter of fact, the beach has always been the primary holiday or vocation destination for most people, regardless of their race or belief.

Since the start of the days, humans have enjoyed the goodness of life. Thinking about you we had the plan of creating this lodge which is useful for you when you need to break off routine and relax from the hallucinating rhythm of the urban life.

Once you arrive in Bilene, you can observe that this small settlement is dominated by a huge salt water lake (Extended for more than 27 Km) with a temperature usually above 30º. The water is comfortably calm, allowing you to walk a fair distance into the lake. It's like a huge swimming pool with central heating surrounded by luxurious vegetation and birds supply you with the music.

Across the lake (Using a small boat or a water bike), you'll find another beach, completely distinct and isolated, with the sea opening to strong waves, and here and there you can find species of turtles

Directions

Leaving Maputo, after 45 Km, you'll find Maracuene’s Village, subsequently go across on a 57 Km route and across some small town until we arrive at Manhia. 18 Kms further, go across the small Settlement of Palmeiras, and after that, travel for another 35 Km until you find yourself at Macia, the Administrative City of Bilene. Travel another 35Km in order to find Bilene’s beach in our horizon.

Accommodation

Aquarius is made up of 32 rooms; 16 era distributed in 4 rounded houses (4 double rooms each). All of these are fully equipped with a bathroom, hot water, air conditioning system, DSTV (satellite TV) and a fridge.

There are also another 26 rooms with the same condition in construction type apartment hotels.

The surrounding area is carefully treated with plants, that liven it up with a magnificent view of the lake beach, 10m away.
