Welcome to Barra Palms

Barra Palms is situated on Barra Beach, approximately 20 km from the tourism town of Inhambane. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean flow effortlessly to the sandy and picturesque beaches of Praia Da Barra, making the area a popular beach getaway destination.

The chalets are built at the base of the main primary dune under a shady haven of palm trees with the beach about 60 meters away.

Accommodation at Barra Palms:
The 2 fully equipped chalets overlook the pool with their own braai area. Equipment includes a fridge, deepfreeze, microwave, gas stove/oven, toaster and kettle. The 6 and 8 sleeper cottages are serviced and linen is supplied but you must provide your own towels.

6 Sleeper Chalet - Ground floor consisting of one bedroom with separate double shower and toilet. Open plan fully equipped kitchen /lounge/dining room. Two upstairs bathrooms: one with a corner bath and toilet and one with a double shower and toilet.

8 Sleeper Chalet - Ground floor consisting of one bedroom with separate double shower and toilet. Open plan fully equipped kitchen /lounge/dining room. Two upstairs rooms: one with a corner bath and toilet and one with a double shower and toilet. Beds are arranged as follows: 1 x queen, 1 x king, and 4 x single beds.

For those who prefer not to cook there are 3 restaurants close by, the nearest being Mozzie Bar which is to the right of the lodge on the beach and Anda Ca Restaurant about 100 metres away. The access road from the main road to the parking area of the lodge is good, so it is not a necessity to have a 4x4 vehicle.
