Reviews of Casa Barry in Tofo Mozambique

Casa Barry is overpriced for the kind of rooms, service and facilities offered. The restaurant had a limited menu, we had the famous seafood platter but to us there was nothing special or out of the ordinary about this dish, the food was too expensive. The beach was dirty, covered in litter and the ships are anchored less than 500 metres from the shore. We spent two nights here and we won’t book here next time.

We spent more than a week at this lodge; it has great views of the beach. The cabana was spacious, clean and modern with mosquito nets, dining utensils and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large gas barbecue on the veranda; the staff was friendly and competent. The price was reasonable for such luxury and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back for more next time.

We spent three nights in this simple cabana; we adored the location of the lodge with great views of the beach. The service was good until we had a problem, there promised to resolve it but it wasn’t resolved until we checked out. Internet is prepaid; the food was great but expensive.
