Reviews of Bamboozi Beach Lodge in Tofo Mozambique

My four friends and I spent two horrible days at Bamboozi, the rooms were basic with a mosquito nets and beds and a shared communal bathroom. The doors had no locks or windows, there is no security and anything is possible since locals come and go as there please.

The restaurant menu was so limited that we opted to order simple toasties, the food preparation took more than an hour and we were finally got the food the ham had plastic on it and when we brought this matter to light the waiter was rude and uninterested. The only positive thing about the lodge is the activities that can be done in and around the place; there is lack of customer care and service.

This place is stunning, you are warmly welcomed by the staff, and they are friendly and hardworking. The rooms are nicely decorated, spacious and clean; power is not on all the time because there are saving it. They let you know when the generator is on and when it’s being switched off. There are a lot of vibrant bars around Tofo, in the morning you can take a walk to the beach.
