Reviews of Matemo Island Resort on Quirimbas Islands Mozambique

This experience at Matema I had with my husband was once in a life time happening. The ocean water was clear and so blue, and the weather was just perfect to hit the beach. Our chalet we stayed in was about 10m away from the ocean, it was right at our door step. The highlight was the sunset cruise on a dhow, and there was drinks and snacks available. After a long day in the sun the bar was great in the evening just to chill and enjoy your time. The vibe was nice, and with not to many people the atmosphere was friendly and not to crowded. There is scuba diving, and a lot of water sports that you can do if you want to.

We were a big group staying for a few days, and every one just loved the scenery, the beaches and the crystal clear ocean water. If we had a choice we would of stayed much, much longer. We liked the massage we got, and the diving and deep sea fishing was a fantastic experience. It is so hard to find a problem with this resort, it's faultless, the chalets are nice and the service as well as food was great. The only thing they could do is get more boats, and make sure that they are well maintained.
