Reviews of Hotel Africa in Maputo Mozambique

The staff can’t open up their minds, I was late and still had to wait 3 hours for my key. They asked me to move so that they can sweep underneath my table and staff had no manners at all. Even when there is nobody, they kicked me out of the breakfast room, just so they can start setting up for lunch. There was random people walking into my room???? Ant the staff speak about me in front of me, not knowing that I also speak Portuguese. They did not make the guests feel welcome, there was no alcohol and almost nothing on the menu. It was a terrible experience and I don’t want to have it again.

The hotel staff is so rude, they put down the phone in my ear saying that they have work to do. I don’t like their attitude. The staff really disappointed me. The location is good and visually the hotel is nice. But I just can’t get over how bad the service and hospitality is. They are not concerned about you, so there is no use in complaining to them about something. The staff is also always making mistakes so I think they need proper training. I do suggest you visit another hotel if you can.
