Reviews of Flamingo Bay Water Lodge in Barra Beach Mozambique

Flamingo Bay water lodge is a superb place. With out a doubt, i will for sure return to this amazing lodge. I will suggest this lodge when coming to this area. Everything was beyond great, the food the service and just all the people.

All the accommodation is laid out perfect, close to the water, the place should be a 4-5 star establishment, but with some lack of attention it just misses the 4 star rating. There was only one golf cart, but it was not working, so we had to walk the extremely long footpaths. The food was average, nothing special, except the sea food buffet the one night that was served, it was great. They should try finding activities for the people to do when it rains, I know the rain limits the outdoor activities. What was the use of the incomplete board games?? We couldn't play any of them, even if they just had a deck of cards it would have been better. The management was not to be seen, was on leave... Staff and service as great, always helping where they can and doing it with a smile. The place was okay, just needs a bit of attention on the smaller things...
