Basilica Sto Nino in the old part of the city is one of the oldest buildings
in the City dating back to when the Spanish first settled in the Philippines.
Also in the old part of town (Colon) just beside Basilica Sto Nino you can
see Magellans Cross in a shrine parts of the original cross brought to the
Philippines by the explorerer Magellan.
The Taoist Temple is not a monument or museum but a fully functional place of worship, so when visiting please respect the rules, you are allowed to wander around this fascinating temple and admire the dragons and ornate designs that decorate the temples.
