Some lodges in the Kruger reserves are children friendly while others do not cater for children at all, other lodges are more private or exclusive and great for honeymoons or romantic getaways some are also available for exclusive use.

South Africa National Parks

South African National Parks (SANP) is government funded and runs the largest section of Kruger National Park (KNP) which can be split roughly into the most visited south and quieter north. In both parts of the park SANP rest camps provide basic rooms, self catering and camping which are very popular and must be booked well in advance. There are also a number of private kruger concessions within the SANP area which provide accommodation in privately run lodges and private game drives and walks. |

There are also a number of private concessions within the main SANP area which typically provide a more luxurious accommodation alternative to the SANP rest camps. These privately run lodges generally provide private game drives and/or walks in their own areas where access is restricted to guests from their lodge. |
