Welcome To Sunset Shores Maui

Located on the ocean in West Maui, in the heart of the Lahaina, Kapalua, Kaanapali resort areas. We have some of the best ocean views on Maui! To the left is the island of Lana‘i and to the right is the island of Moloka‘i. Our location is 5.5 miles north of Lahaina, midway between Kaanapali and Kapalua.

We are conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, and golf courses. But, most importantly, we are far enough away from the noise and congestion of the busy resort areas so that you can enjoy the natural beauty of Maui, which we assume is why you are coming to Maui.

As soon as you arrive at our condo, which we call Sunset Shores Maui, you will be awed by the incredible ocean view and the sound of the waves! A smile will cross your face and you will be on your way to winding down for a wonderful vacation. The ocean is so close you can almost feel it.

Accommadation

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level-one has a king size bed and the other has a queen-size bed. The King bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the queen has a bath in the hallway. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers and granite-topped vanities.

The large 3rd bedroom is upstairs. The room is bright and spacious and has a comfortable new king-sized bed. A bathroom with vanity area complete the upstairs. Linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided.

The open living room has ample comfortable seating, a cathedral ceiling, flat screen cable TV, DVD, stereo system with CD and iPod dock, and that wonderful view! We think that the view from our dining room tops most of the restaurants on the island.

The kitchen is completely new: custom cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless appliances, new lighting, and a useful "work" island. Even the kitchen sink has an ocean view! The kitchen is well-supplied with everything you need to make a great meal. Walk to the local farmer's market up the street for tropical delights.

Activities

- Whale-watching: If you come during the winter months, you'll see the humpback whales-January through April are the best months to see the humpback whales. The first ones usually arrive mid-December and most are gone by early May. Our condo is a prime spot to see them….either from inside your condo or from the shore.
- Take a walk in Lahaina from the Banyan Tree to the Lahaina Shopping Center. Great dining, shopping, sights along the way.
- Walk along Kaanapali Beach from the Hyatt to the Royal Lahaina.
- Old Lahaina Luau Considered the best luau by many, right on the beach in Lahaina.
- Sail to Lanai or go for a sunset sail,for pure luxury.
- Visit Haleakala Volcano.
- Visit the small towns of Paia and Makawao - they are on the way to Hana and Haleakala.
- Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and meet other guests.
- Just relax and enjoy the beauty of Maui
- Great golf can be found at Kapalua and Kaanapali…both only a 5 minute drive.
- There are several shopping areas in the Honokowai/Kahana area. Whaler’s Village in Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina have many fine shops.
- fine dining to fast-food at McDonalds, as well as choices for pizza, delis, and great seafood.
