The King’s Head is a fine Georgian building dating back to the 18th Century. It is situated in the centre of the Market Square, in the picturesque town of Masham.
From the outset, the King’s Head was always more than an inn. In its time it has been combined with a Posting House and surprisingly, an Excise Office.
Masham itself, established in Saxon times, lies peacefully on the River Ure. The hotel also has a fully licensed restaurant and bar offering a warm welcome with an excellent menu range.
They serve traditional Theakstons and Black Sheep cask ales as well as offering an extensive wine list making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors who visit the town.
