Only 1 mile from the beautiful English seaside town of Lyme Regis, Hook Farm has over 5 acres of camping space and a small number of static caravans available for hire.
Tucked away in a valley, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and situated away from the main roads, Hook Farm is a hidden gem. It borders the village of Uplyme on one side and the rolling Devon countryside on the other.
The Coastal Footpath is accessed from the stile on the border of the park and the rambling path along the riverside down to Lyme Regis is the perfect distance to work up an appetite for one of the town's many tempting hostelries! All-in-all the perfect base for your holiday in the South-West.

Hook Farm Camping Park Accommodation
Campsite: We have over 5 acres of camping space available in 2 fields. The park commands superb views of the beautiful Lym Valley and whilst the overall terrain is sloping the vast majority of pitches are on flat or terraced land.
Shelter is provided by the hedges bordering the park and by the mature and growing trees dotted throughout the site. The site is located away from major roads and so retains its peaceful, rural atmosphere.
Many of our regular campers enjoy nothing more than to sit out, read the paper and savour the peace and quiet. The site has a small climbing frame and swings for the children and plenty of parking for boats and trailers.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a short lead whilst on the park and under control at all times. For their exercise we have a dog walking area in the pleasant surroundings of our cider orchard. Sorry, but we do not accept Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Dobermans and Bullmastiffs. Many of the pitches have electric hook-up points.
Electric sockets and lights are available for hire but should be booked in advance. Toilet and washroom facilities are provided by 2 modern, purpose built blocks (one was completed in 2000 the other in 2003) and include laundry and drying facilities.
Hairdryers are available in both Men's and Ladies sections and operate on a 20p coin meter. To avoid excessive queuing, and with conservation of water in mind, our showers also operate on a 20p coin meter - which provides four and a half minutes (we believe that to be a good length of time for a shower).
We have plenty of 20p pieces so no need to stock up before you arrive.
Please note: whilst we do have disabled washroom facilities we believe our park is not appropriate for disabled campers due to its sloping terrain and sloping access points.

Holiday Homes: In an area separate from the camping fields, we have a small number of static caravans for hire offering accommodation for up to five people.
They are all modern caravans (under 4 years old), double glazing throughout and with an outside decking area for those warm summer evenings.

Directions to Hook Farm Camping Park
If you are driving a motorhome or towing a caravan we strongly advise that you do not o use Sat' Nav' as it often leads you down the back lanes of Lyme Regis which are very narrow and have limited passing places. We are very easy to find using the following instructions:

From London / South East
Take the M3 South and leave at junction 8 (A303) after Basingstoke. Continue past Andover and Stonehenge on the A303 and leave after passing Yeovil and Ilminster onto the A358, signposted to Chard. Continue through Chard and Axminster following signs to Lyme Regis.
Turn left up the A35 and then second right on the B 3165. In the village of Uplyme, turn right opposite the Talbot Arms pub into Gore Lane. We are 400m up the hill on the right.

From the South.
Travelling West on the M27 from Southampton, continue as it becomes the A31. Join the A35 at Bere Regis, pass Dorchester and past the first two signs for Lyme Regis.
