Langdale Lakes near Lincoln is a fishery near Lincoln where there is genuinely good Carp and Coarse fishing available from two very pretty lakes. The lakes are set within 8.5 acres of beautiful countryside where wildlife has been nurtured and encouraged for many years yet it is only 5 miles from the centre of Lincoln with its numerous tourist attractions and great shopping facilities. Langdale Lakes is for Adults only unless the young people are serious about fishing. This is because there are no facilities to keep young people occupied. Well behaved dogs are very welcome at both the caravan site and lakeside when fishing. You can spend your time simply relaxing beside your caravan or tent or on one of the garden benches positioned around the mature, tree lined lakes. Alternatlively, visit the city of Lincoln, where there are many tourist attractions, a varied and modern shopping centre as you would expect in a quality city together with many small specialist shops, particularly around the Cathedral and Castle. The Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast are only a short drive away with wonderful villages and resorts that cater for all tastes.You can enjoy a great days fishing on one of the 40 generously spaced fishing pegs set around the two lakes. Each fishing peg has plenty of space for a two man bivvy and some can accommodate larger tents. Flush toilets, showers and small kitchen are positioned near to the lakes for the comfort of campers, anglers and visitors. Some of the touring caravan pitches are sited right next to or very near to the lakes and all are equipped with electric hook up points.
