The house enjoys views across the Long Mynd, Helmeth Hill and Hazler Hill. You also get rooftop views of the houses nestled within the hills around Church Stretton and All Stretton.

Highlands Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers or just to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.

The centre of Church Stretton and the railway station is a 15 minute walk away. Here you will also find Carding Mill Valley; an excellent start for discovering the Long Mynd. To the east of the town you can find even more beautiful countryside including the hills of Caer Caradoc, The Lawley, Ragleth and Hope Bowdler.

The historic town of Ludlow is within easy reach by train, bus or car, as is Shrewsbury to the north, Much Wenlock (with its geologically famous edge) and Ironbridge to the east. Our aim at Highlands Bed and Breakfast is to provide you with comfortable, relaxing and friendly accommodation.

There is plenty of car parking and a secure area to store bicycles and/or walking equipment. Guests can relax in the lounge / dining room that offer fantastic views. If the weather is suitable, the garden is ideal for an evening drink to watch the sun set behind the Long Mynd.

The Balcony Room: This room is probably our favourite room at Highlands Bed and Breakfast. It has a super king size bed which can also be separated into twin beds if required. There is a wardrobe/dressing area and en-suite shower room.

The Balcony Room has been recently renovated to include large French doors that open up onto a private balcony with table and two chairs. The views are spectacular and overlook the back garden, the Long Mynd to the west, and Helmeth Hill to the north east.

There is also an optional annexe room with twin beds, dressing table and colour TV. If booked access to the annexe is via the main bedroom and occupants share the en-suite and hospitality tray.

The Magnolia Room is a gorgeous, light, bright and airy bedroom which has recently been decorated throughout. A brand new en-suite shower room has also been added which includes a powerful shower and vanity unit. Two comfortable chairs are situated in the large rounded bay window where you can enjoy the fauna and flora in the back garden.

From here you also get spectacular views of the Long Mynd to the west and Helmeth Hill to the north east. The room has a super king size bed which can be separated into twin beds if required.

The Primrose Room
