We are a quiet, ‘Home from Home’, non-smoking, multi-award winning, highly accessible B&B, in the historic town of Abingdon-on-Thames.
A choice of 7 en-suite bedrooms includes ‘Allergy Friendly’ and ground floor ‘Easy Access’ (with wet room). Guests enjoy private parking (with Blue Badge bay), excellent bus services and local amenities, secure cycle/scooter storage, Fair Trade items and free Wi-Fi.
All guests have shower rooms and access to a guest bathroom. Room facilities include: digital Freeview TV & DVD player, free security safe, hair-dryer, towelling robes, iron and ironing board.
A host of extra equipment aids and information is available as we offer a flexible and responsive service for all ages and requirements.
From just outside Abbey Guest House, modern accessible buses provide frequent 20 minute journeys to Oxford town centre, coach and railway stations, with fast onward journeys to London, Birmingham etc.
Train services from farthest West Wales or Bristol stop at nearby Didcot Station where buses again link quickly to ‘our’ bus stop outside.

Guest rooms are situated on two floors. This page details their location, number of beds and the facilities in all rooms or that can be requested, including a range of aids.
The ground floor has the Easy Access Bedroom Room 1 with full en-suite wet room; entrance hallway with visitor information, menus and transport timetables; the Lounge / Dining area and a visitor cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

• The first floor has 6 bedrooms, numbered 2 to 7, each with en-suite shower room, This includes Allergy Friendly Room 6; a ‘library’ area, with paperback novels, on the landing and a separate guest bathroom containing just a bath.
• Some bedrooms have sufficient space that a cot or additional 2' 6? single bed can be added, although this often requires removal of the desk
