Just a short walk to a long stretch of white sand beach, Sea Glass Cottage is a new, deluxe housekeeping cottage on the South shore of PEI. Sea Glass Cottage Accommodation It is a two bedroom, cedar-shingled cottage with a double bed in one room and bunk beds in the second room. There is also a pull out couch in the living room. The living, dining and kitchen areas of Sea Glass are open concept, with hardwood floors throughout. The cottage has a big front deck and a large screened-in porch with a sitting area and dining table.

Outside, there is a BBQ, fire pit, and lawn furniture. Sea Glass also has internet service and a variety of board games and lawn games (croquet, bocce, beach toys, etc) are provided. The cottage is fully equipped and includes all linens and housewares.

Rentals are normally done on a Saturday to Saturday basis with check-in after 3 p.m. and checkout by 11 a.m.

Off-season: May 1st - June 30th / September 1 - October 30th
High season: July 1 - August 30th

About the Area
Red Clay, Sea Glass, Sandy Rose, and Red Wood cottages are located in the quiet coastal community of Wood Islands on the southeast tip of Prince Edward Island. Just a short walk from each of the cottages is a spectacular view of the Northumberland Strait, a beautiful white sand beach and one of the best swimming areas in P.E.I.

Wood Islands is a hub of activity throughout the summer. The cottages are just minutes from:
Wood Islands car ferry terminal and wharf, which has a restaurant, craft shops, and where fresh lobster and seafood are sold. 'Plough the Waves' Visitor's Centre houses a variety of handcraft shops, a wine/liquor/beer store, and a visitor information centre.

The nearby villages of Murray River and Murray Harbour have banking, a bakery, gas stations, restaurants, a grocery /hardware store, seal watching cruises, seaplane tours, and several handcraft shops.

• Northumberland Fisheries Festival - Murray River. Celebrating the livelihood of the area on the last weekend of July, featuring carnival rides, dory races, a lobster supper, scallop-shucking contests, local talent, and the Miss Northumberland pageant.
