Blue Crest Cottages is a three star Canada Select accommodation located just minutes from North Rustico and Cavendish, famous for Anne of Green Gables, beaches and lobster suppers. We, your hosts Thelma and Michelle Eisnor, work hard to ensure your stay is pleasurable in our family owned and managed facility. Our deluxe cottages provide all the comforts of home. Our two bedroom cottages and one bedroom units have a spectacular view of the Rustico Bay and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Each cottage has a large private deck, microwave, propane BBQ, remote control colour cable TV, air conditioning, electric heat as well as a full bath with shower.

Also, for your convenience and enjoyment, you'll find a laundromat, play area, spacious heated pool and hot tub. Take a minute to enjoy a scenic stroll to the seashore, pick mussels or dig clams.

Four day minimum stay for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival.

One Bedroom Duplex Cottages
Our deluxe fully equipped housekeeping duplex cottages provide all the comforts for a memorable escape to our island in the waves. Sit back, on your own private deck and take a deep breath of the wonderful sea air. Our one bedroom duplex cottages each have microwave, propane BBQ, remote control color cable TV, electric heat, as well as full bath with shower.

Two Bedroom Cottages
Our deluxe fully equipped housekeeping cottages provide all the comforts for a memorable escape to our island in the waves. Sit back, on your own private deck and take a deep breath of the wonderful sea air. Our two bedroom cottages each have microwave, propane BBQ, remote control color cable TV, electric heat, as well as full bath with shower.

Blue Crest Summer House
A three bedroom house located 5 minutes from Blue Crest Cottages, featuring beautiful views of the River Clyde. Our Blue Crest Summer House has includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, propane BBQ, air conditioning, complimentary National Park / beach pass with stay, cable, internet, phone, is pet friendly, and includes access to the pool and hot tub at Blue Crest Cottages. Minimum stay is 4 days.

Off Season: Mid May to June 14 Inclusive, After Labour Day to Mid October
Mid Season: June 15 - June 28 Inclusive, August 24 - After Labour Day
Peak Season: June 29 - August 23

Towel Exchange Policy
In order to conserve energy and for environmental concerns, we have a two-day towel exchange policy in place between 2:00 p.m.. - 7:00 p.m..

Pets Policy
All pet owners are asked to clean up inside and outside of your cottage. You will be responsible for any damages your pet may cause. There will be a fee charged for any extra clean up of fur. We have pet blankets and an industrial vacuum cleaner available at the office.

Smoking Policy
All cottages are smoke-free. There will be a $50.00 fee if smoke is detected.

National Park Passes Policy
You get a free beach pass with your stay which is good for all beaches and National Parks on PEI. You will be responsible for this pass and in event of the pass being lost, stolen, damaged or if you forget to return the pass before you check out, you will have to pay the replacement value.

Check Out Policy
Check out is at 10:00 am SHARP. Guests staying passed check out time will be charged for another night stay.

Welcome to Blue Crest Cottages!
We, your hosts, Thelma & Michelle are a mother-daughter team, who has been working hard to keep the integrity of our cottages for the existence of Blue Crest Cottages. We are a three star accommodation with many extras to be offered.

We are not only your hosts but we are you cleaning staff, maintenance, and office staff too. Actually, we are the only staff. But with the hands of our other family members, even many of our clients, our cottages wouldn’t be in existence without their help. We thank you all.

We would like to ensure your vacation is one that will be relaxing, worry-free, and most importantly affordable and comfortable. We take great pride in our establishment and enjoy meeting all the people who have chosen Blue Crest Cottages as their vacation destination. We have grown and learned over the years how to better accommodate visitors to our island. Actually, we are still learning.

Over the many years, we have met so many wonderful people from all walks of life, from places far and wide of Canada and beyond. We have seen many families grow, not just older but in size, with new babies, even new pet additions. We have watched many of your children grow up before our eyes with many of them returning to PEI to stay with us as young adults.

We had the pleasure of accommodating many during their Honeymoons and even had some Weddings very close. We have accommodated many of you who are here to work. We have had so many referrals to your families, co-worker, acquaintances and friends. Some of you have even referred us to stranger you’ve met on your departure of the island. We have so many clients, who we are lucky to see on a yearly basis for which we refer to now as friends. Your life stories are closely embedded in the being of Blue Crest Cottages.

Getting Here
Centrally located on Route 6, just minutes away from North Rustico and Cavendish, the home of Anne of Green Gables, magnificent white sandy beaches, and wonderful lobster suppers.

Getting To Blue Crest Cottages from The Confederation Bridge:
We are approximately 45 minutes from The Confederation Bridge. Once you depart the bridge you are on the Trans Canada Highway Route 1. Follow and take Route 1A towards Summerside. Follow 1A and take a right on Route 225 to Kinkora. Follow on this country route through Kinkora, Shamrock, Rose Valley, Stanchel, Springton, and Hartsville.

Take a left on Route 13 to Hunter River. Follow through on Route 13 through Rennies Road to New Glasglow. Take a right and follow Route 258 to Route 6. Take a left on Route 6 to Rusticoville. Once you pass over the small bridge, we are located on the right side just over the hill.

Getting to Blue Crest Cottages from the Northumberland Ferry:
We are approximately 75 minutes from the Ferry. Once you depart the ferry you will be traveling on the Trans Canada Highway Route 1. Follow to Charlottetown across the Stratford Bridge. Take a right towards the Hospital and Airport. You will now be traveling on the Arterial Highway. Take a right on Route 2.

Follow Route 2 away from the city and take another right on Route 7 towards Rustico and Cavendish. Route 7 will eventually end on to Route 6. Follow through Oyster Bed Bridge, Cymbria, Rustico, to Rusticoville. Once you pass over the small bridge, we are located on the right side just over the hill.

Getting to Blue Crest Cottages from the Charlottetown Airport:
Once you depart the Airport, take a right on Route 15 towards Brackley. Travel through Harrington and Backley Beach. Take a left on Route 6 towards Oyster Bed Bridge. Follow through Oyster Bed Bridge, Cymbria, Rustico, to Rusticoville. Once you pass over the small bridge, we are located on the right side just over the hill.
