Evergreen Lane Cottage is a summer cottage available for rental annually from mid June to the end of September. If you have not been to our cottage, you don't know what you are missing. We offer a relaxing environment, free from city traffic and big city lights. A great area for children to run and play. Do come and stay. Evergreen Lane Cottage Accommodation Our cottage offers 1,100 square feet of country living. The all wood interior offers 2 bedrooms on the main floor along with a washer/dryer, kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, living room and propane fireplace. The kitchen and living room have beautiful cathedral ceilings with skylights.

The upstairs loft includes 2 futons, colour television with satellite and vcr and overlooks the kitchen and livingroom.

Enjoy our large private yard, beautiful flower garden, large screened in gazebo, open firepit and propane barbeque. Fresh garden produce as well as delicious wild blueberries are available in Season.

Location
Our cottage is located on Route 316 just 5 minutes outside of Montague, PE. We are approximately 20 minutes from the Wood Islands Ferry from Nova Scotia and 25 minutes east of Charlottetown.

Nestled between thousands of Christmas Trees and set back a distance from a country road, you can watch the sunrise and sunset without the interruption of streetlights, horns, sirens or traffic. Situated on 2 acres, children have lots of room to run and play.

In Heatherdale, you are close to many attractions. Nearby, there is Historic Orwell Corner Village, Seal Watching Tours, Belfast & Brudenell Golf Courses, Greenwich National Park and the list goes on. Go fishing, hiking, clam digging or just relax on beautiful sandy beaches at nearby Panmure Island. Take a drive to Charlottetown, only 25 minutes away, visit our historic waterfront, or drive a little further and visit world renowned Cavendish Beach and Anne of Green Gables.

Driving directions from Charlottetown:
After you cross the bridge at Charlottetown (going towards Wood Islands) there will be an Esso service station on your right, at this point set your trip odometer. From this point follow # 1 to # 210 (25.3 kilometers) turn left and go to the stop sign (2.2 kms) turn right onto # 24 and follow this to the third left turn (6.9 kms) left onto # 206 to stop sign (2.2 kms) turn right onto # 325 and then a sharp left ( keep on paved road) this is # 316 to address #2339 shown on your right (3.1kms) our name is on the mailbox. Turn right into laneway and follow in past the Christmas trees Note total distance from the Esso is 39.7 kms.

Driving directions from Wood Islands:
After you get off the ferry, follow the Trans Canada highway towards Charlottetown. You will go past a liquor store on your right hand side, and there is an exit immediately following that to the right which is Route 315. Take Route 315 towards Montague for 20 km. At Route 316, turn left and follow down 2.2 km to civic address #2339. The mailbox on the right side of the road will say "Slater", turn left into laneway and follow in past the Christmas trees.
