Welcome to The Steeple Cottage! The Steeple Cottage is located on the beautiful peninsula of Point Prim in eastern PEI. 'The Steeple' is close to the end of the peninsula and off the road by .7 km, sitting high on the Capes over looking the Hillsborough and Orwell Bays. Direct private access to miles of selcuded shoreline...great for swimming, kayaking and beachcombing ! You'll have your own private beach nestled in the cliff on the way down to the shore. On this seaside property, whether you're looking for Sun or Shade, you'll find the perfect spot to enjoy your days.

Have you ever slept in a Bell Tower ?....you can in luxury and style at The Steeple.

- The still functioning original timbers of The Steeple are left exposed and frame the King size bed.
- A hand painted mural by local artist Cathy Krolikowski surrounds the bed. The subtle uplighting illuminates the mural and creates a 'full moon landscape' which includes lighthouses and seascapes.
- 22inch flat screen tv.
- A 2nd floor exterior door, off the bedroom, leads to the roof top deck....easy access for midnight star gazing in your PJ's ... or a lazy morning coffee:)

Roof top deck:
The panoranmic view speaks for itself. Great space to be in anytime of the day or night. Access from 2nd floor and ground level. Screened in area where the church bell used to hang. Orginal pew for sitting , blanket and cushions inside trunk for your comfort. Zero gravity loungers..perfect for sunbathing and star gazing.

Services & Amenities
These amenities are provided for added enjoyment ...tools for exploring the grounds, shore and local area. Just imagine packing a picnic , a bottle of your favorite wine and kayak a short distance away to an uninhabited island to snorkel and sunbath the day away. There is a good chance you'll not see another person all day .....but no doubt you will see: seals , eagles and treasures of shells, seaglass and starfish along the waters edge.

Chowder House 3 kms away
The Chowder House is located at 'The Point' of Point Prim. Close enough for you walk , bike or kayak to from The Steeple. Open late June to early September. Great location for a bicycle ride and picnic during the shoulder seasons too.

The Higher Ground Cafe
The Higher Ground has a full menu and awesome bakery. Our favorites : pan rolls and cinnamon rolls 'drizzled' with icing. Located on the Trans Canada on your way to the cottage. No need to buy store brought bread when you stay at The Steeple!!

Belfast MiniMills Tea Room
A great little hidden treasure for a home style lunch menu. Menu varies depending on the season / local produce. Only 16 kms from The Steeple. Browse in the Mini Mills store or take a tours while you are there.

About your home away from home..
Hi , Welcome from us, Melody and Val. We hope you'll decide to stay at 'The Steeple'. Val and I are both from PEI and have grown up at opposite ends of the Island, therefore we have knowledge of this wonderful Island from one end to the other. We have been living in Point Prim for 14 years.

When you decide to stay at The Steeple you'll be on the same 25 acres as our house (you get to be closer to the shore!) Plenty of space and privacy for both of us. Your privacy is as important as ours. We are close enough but far enough away. If you have questions or looking for suggestions on where to eat, sightsee or wonder when the best tides are to dig some clams or where you can buy some lobsters right from the wharf , we'll be glad to help and share whatever knowledge we have.
