Ben’s Lake Trout Fishing & Campground is a beautiful scenic piece of eastern Prince Edward Island, located in Bellevue. This unique location has it all for the first time fisherman or the avid fly fisherman. If you just want to try your hand at fishing you can catch and release or stay to camp for the evening and cook up your feed. All equipment and bait is available for rent. For those of you who have a problem cleaning your catch this service is available to you along with a barbecue and picnic area. The bird watching nature trails at Ben’s Lake are picturesque and a quiet, serene way to spend part of your day.

There are many services available whether you just want to pull in and camp for the night, use the Laundromat or dumping station, rent a rod, boat and bait or relax and listen to the quiet of your surroundings. Which ever you choose you will experience the island at it’s best.

Sandbar Cottage
The Sandbar Cottage is located on the banks of the beautiful Montague River, which is one of three heritage river in the area. Montague is in eastern Prince Edward Island.

This two bedroom cottage is a perfect spot to enjoy your PEI vacation. It is very centraly located but yet in rural PEI. This incredible view is what you will see as you relax in or outside the cottage. Imagine relaxing on the deck or waters edge in the lawn chairs or swinging in the hammock gazing out at this magnificent view of the Montague River.

The Montague River is part of the three rivers heritage river system. They are called the Cardigan, Brudenell and the Montague Rivers, which flow into the Georgetown Harbour.

As you relax on the deck or exploring the island you will be treated to magnificent views of birds soaring, boaters cruising the rivers, fields of lupins, picturesque vista and the over all peace and quiet of island life...

Trout Fishing
Ben’s Lake offers many services for you to enjoy while on your PEI vacation. There are two ponds at the lake where you can experience two ways to fish. There is a Lower Pond where you can pay for the trout caught or the Upper Pond where you can fly fish to catch and release.

There are 16 acres of quality fly-fishing where you can cast your line.I’m sure you have all heard the story about the one that got away…. At Ben’s Lake you might lose a few but you’ll also win a few. Your fish stories will entertain your friends and the photos of you and your fish will let them see that… at least they all didn’t get away!
