Cavendish Beach's Preferred Cottages! Miles of ocean off Cavendish Beach; that's what you will see when you sit on the deck of one of our beautifully appointed cottages. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided. Twenty-three cottages, on nine acres of spacious grounds provide an excellent setting for your escape. We have a heated outdoor pool with a large deck, lots of loungers, as well as hot tub, kiddie pool and playground. Our wonderful vegetable and flower gardens are but a few of the extra touches we've added to make you feel at home.

We're minutes from championship golf at Green Gables, Eagles Glenn, Andersons Creek and Glasgow Hills. Easily visit Green Gables House, The Village of Avonlea, Shining Waters Park, terrific restaurants and lobster suppers, P.E.I. National Park with its superb hiking and biking trails, and Cavendish Beach. We are a 20 minute walk to the ocean or a 5 minute drive to the main Cavendish beach with lifeguards.

Cottages
All our cottages have the same kitchen amenities. They are extremely well equiped. They even have a garlic press. We supply dish soap, coffee filters, salt and pepper as well. We keep lobster pots in the office that you can borrow and if there is anything missing, just let us know.

About us
We started Sundance in 1985 with just two cottages that we bought from someone else and renovated. Those cottages are no longer with us but we have built 23 more over the years to serve our customers.Gary has been in the tourism business since birth. Born and raised in Cavendish, his father started the old Cavendish Esso on the Cavendish corner of routes 6 and 13.

This was sold in 1992 to Petro-Canada. His mother was the Postmistress at Green Gables Post Office. People from all over the world have been coming to Cavendish for decades and mailing their postcards from the Green Gables Post Office to get the Green Gables postmark.Linda came to Cavendish to work at Green Gables House in 1972, met Gary while buying gas and never left.

She worked in education for 35 + years and is from Acadian and Québécois roots.We live on the property year round with our golden retriever Cabot. We have two sons, both married to wonderful ladies and we now have four grand-children, William, Katey Jayne, Ethan and Jaxon. Come and visit us and you will likely see most of our clan around the property.
