Our tranquil, 3-½ stars family-oriented establishment is ideally located in the heart of Brackley Beach, 12 km north of the airport. Minutes away from beautiful beaches, popular golf courses, deep-sea fishing, bird watching, the world renowned art gallery "The Dunes", and don't forget to try the famous Island Lobster Suppers. Located on our peaceful 68 acre pastoral setting and beautifully groomed grounds are our 8 luxury 2 & 3 Bedroom Executive and Deluxe meticulously clean, fully equipped cottages. We are expanding: Shady Acres is undergoing an exciting expansion to Shady Acres Country Estates - a beautiful, secluded new cottage sub-division that would be perfect for a quiet summer or retirement home.

We offer:
· All cottages have spacious decks, propane BBQ's, individual fire pits for camp fires (wood supplied), picnic tables, and lawn chairs
· All cottages have top quality Simmons Inn Keeper, Beauty rest beds & sofa beds, as well as beautiful Mahogany furniture in the bedrooms and livingroom.
· Each cottage has microwave, remote color cable TV/VCR
· Fully equipped kitchens with full fridge, stove, microwave with all dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils included
· All linens supplied, daily towel change, and a laundry facility on site
· Safe, spacious playground with heated inground pool, regulation size tennis court, and exercise room

Shady Acres Cottages Accommodation

Executive Cottages
We have one 3-bedroom and two 2-bedroom executive cottages. Executive units feature Jacuzzi's, dishwashers, full oak kitchens, hardwood and ceramic floors, and queen/double beds.

Our 3-bedroom executive, cottage #1, is suitable for a large family, including in-laws, grandparents, or several couples travelling together. It is also wheelchair accessible. The 3-bedroom cottage sleeps eight quite comfortably with a queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in each of the other two bedrooms, and a full sofa bed in the livingroom.

Our two bedroom executive cottages, #7 and #8, have a queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, as well as a full sofa bed in the livingroom.

Deluxe Cottages
Our deluxe 3-bedroom cottage, #2, has all of the same features as the executive cottages except for the dishwasher and the whirlpool tub, which are not included. Our two individual 2-bedroom deluxe cottages, #3, & #4, both sleep 6 quite comfortably. They have a double bed in each bedroom with a full sofa bed in the livingroom.

Cottages #5 & #6 are deluxe 2-bedrooms. These two cottages are attached but self-contained. They sleep 6 comfortably with a queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom and a full sofa bed in the livingroom.

Office Features
Our office provides a lending library of books, toys, family and board games, sport and recreational equipment. These are to be signed in and out and returned in good condition. We also provide access to Internet and complimentary fax access for clients who must combine business and pleasure.

The office also includes laundry facilities and a small exercise/fitness room.

Recreation
We are situated on 68 acres of beautifully groomed grounds with a well appointed recreation area with activities for all ages. It includes a safe, spacious playground, which is visible from any of the ten cottages as well as a heated in-ground pool.Other available activities include tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, and horse shoes.

We are located in the heart of Brackley Beach in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Our central location is just 12 km north of the Charlottetown Airport and less than an hour's drive from both the Confederation Bridge and the Wood Islands Ferry.
