Bambu Battambang Hotel was opened as a boutique hotel concept and offers its guests the ultimate accommodation experience with its 16 luxurious bedrooms arranged in 4 traditionally inspired buildings in Battambang, Cambodia. When designing the hotel we wanted to combine all that was best in the local Khmer and French colonial architecture whilst providing our guests with maximum comfort and convenience.

The Russey Restaurant Battambang, meaning bamboo in Cambodian, boasts a fully equiped kitchen and serves the best and freshest food in Battambang. Russey is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 6am to 10pm with a range of snacks, mains and desserts from the best of local and international cuisine.

We offer our guests comprehensive tailor- made tours of the city and countryside by motorbikes or tuk tuks and we can also arrange bicycle and motorbike rental. In Reception you will find all the information you may need about the city and other attractions and our staff, who are all from Battambang, can share their local knowledge to provide you with a memorable stay in the hotel and city.

Bambu Battambang Hotel, Restaurant and Bar was built with sustainability in mind. In the construction we used only local labour and wherever possible local materials - for instance all: floor tiles, roof tiles joinery and most of the furniture were made in Battambang. Similarly all the trees, shrubs and flowers in the gardens were sourced locally.

We use solar power for much of our power, and have opted for a salt water pool, which is both better for our guests, but also free from damaging chemical agents, lessening the impact on the environment.

All our staff are hired locally and we support the local community including a number of local school and charity projects.

Bambu Battambang Hotel has three different types of luxurious guest room:

The 4 Suite Rooms (32 sq m incl bathroom) are on the first floor of the main building and all have antique Khmer king size beds. Each room also has a large balcony (12.5 sq m) with table, chairs and removable hammocks.

The three Garden Houses are named after local sights of interest - Banan, Sampov and Ek Phnom.

The six Deluxe Superior Rooms (27 sq m incl bathroom) are on the first floor of these houses;
Four rooms have antique Khmer king or Queen size beds and two of the rooms have twin beds (2m x 1m).Each room has a private balcony (7.5 sq m) with table and chairs.

The Deluxe Standard Rooms (27 sq m incl bathroom) are on the ground floor of the garden houses. Again 4 rooms have antique Khmer King or Queen sized beds and 2 rooms have twin (2m x 1m) beds. Each room has a private terrace and garden area with table and chairs.

All rooms have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, telephone, flat screen cable TV, DVD player with access to our DVD library, iPod docker, mini bar, room safe and private terrace or balcony. Free WiFi is provided around the site and we also have 2 dedicated computer terminals in reception for use by guests.
