The lodge is ideally situated close to the entrance of Nata Sanctuary and it is along the main road 5KM South of Nata Village. With gorgeous, breathtaking vistas as a backdrop, you will come face to face with the abundant creatures of the bush and some of the most spectacular sunsets.

Accommodation at Pelican Lodge

We offer cool thatched standalone chalets as well as family accommodation and a lavish presidential suite. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, air-condition, television, fridge, phone, access to Internet and tea/ coffee set.

Executive Restaurant and Bar

The splendor of the surroundings can only be matched by the superb food served at the two restaurants; Boma Restaurant and Executive Ala carte Restaurant.

In addition to the fine dishes offered at both restaurants, diners can also expect to find local seasonal treats on the regularly changing menu.

Pelican Lodge is able to cater for a range of functions both during the day and at night - utilizing a number of different venues - the restaurant and the bar, the Boma and poolside or the large braai area at the campsite - any theme can be realized or atmosphere created.

BOMA Restuarant

TMealtimes at Pelican Lodge are events not to be missed. The thatched outdoor restaurant overlooks the pool and the splendor of the surroundings can only be matched by the superb food served at the Boma.

Swimming Pool: The lodge has a spectacular african map swimming pool with a unique gazebo over looking it. Offering a welcome relief during those hot summer days. Activities like bird watching, watching sundown will be conducted.

Binoculars at the ready, guests are treated to a ramble at Nata Bird Sanctuary. Bird-life is prolific throughout the year and with the diverse vegetation,

our experienced guides are not too challenged when it comes to providing tickers with the opportunity to site both the rarely seen and the equally beautiful pelicans within the area.

This activity is best undertaken in the early morning or late afternoon and is the perfect 'gap filler' for guests on the move. Nata sanctuary is part of the Makgadikgadi pans as it is part of Sua Pan which is the largest (approx 252km2) of the three pans which make up the Makgadikgadi Pans.

Apart from its spectacular view which interchanges throughout the year. You will also treat your eyes to a wide range of wild animals which include Hippopotamus, Vervet Monkey, Ant Eater, Springbok, Black Backed Jackal, Wildebeest and others.

They is also ample space and facility for various activities which include Quad Biking, Picnics and Braii, away from the animals so as not to disturb them or corrupt their natural habitat.
