The Old House is a small family owned and run guesthouse situated in Kasane, overlooking the Chobe River. Conviniently located within walking distance to all shops and a 10 minute boat ride to the entrance of the Chobe National Park.

GAME DRIVE / BOAT CRUISES
Enjoy a 3 hour boat cruise /game drive into the Chobe National Park know for its huge elephant herds and abundance of both bird life and game. The chance of an encounter with lion, leopard or cheetah is also possible.

FISHING TRIPS
“Catch and release”
Enjoy a few hours on the Chobe River trawling or spinning for Tiger fish as well as many other species of bream. WE SPECIALISE IN FLY – FISHING!

CANOEING TRIPS
First of its kind in Kasane introduced by THE OLD HOUSE. Take a 3 hour scenic trip down the Chobe River stopping for refreshments on an unspoilt island or beach – enjoy the splendid scenery abundance of birdlife and the rush of the rapids.

Great for avid birdwatchers and keen fly- fishermen.

Enjoy an afternoon cruise sipping a gin & tonic while the sun sets.

VICTORIA FALLS DAY TRIP
Victoria Falls is 80km away and a trip to see the magnificent falls is definitely worthwhile when in the area. And for those adrenaline junkies their white water rafting, bungi jumping, gorge swing and many more activities to get that adrenaline pumping.
