Some ideas of what to do at Kubu Lodge
On the doorstep of the world famous Chobe National Park,
and only an hour away from the mighty Victoria Falls.
Kubu Lodge is an ideal place from which to explore this fascinating region.
Relax and dine in our restaurant...
Serving 3 meals a day, Kubu Lodge is well known for its excellent cuisine,
catering for all tastes including a bullet buffet breakfast, lunch and
dinner Table d' hote.
Come enjoy a sundowner in our bar..
Centrally located in the thatched restaurant, it commands a magnificent
view over the grounds and the Chobe River. The fully stocked bar, and
wine cellar, are open daily. We also offer a Curio Shop
for that little piece of Africa to take home, full of locally produced
items.
Kubu Lodge has a great refreshing swimming pool private
and secluded....with a view of the river. The Summerhouse is
a cool place to relax and enjoy some reading, or catch up on the postcard
writing..

Some of the activities at Kubu lodge include:
Game Drives and Chobe River Cruises a 3 hour game drive or boat
cruise into the Chobe National Park, for a variety of big game and birdlife.
Enjoy a quiet cruise aboard our "Finfoot" to the confluence
of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, the meeting place of four countries.
The Nature Trail:
Take a walk along the 2km Nature Trail that meanders through some pristine
indigenous riverine habitat on the Chobe. Armed with binoculars, enjoy
the fantastic birding that is on offer or perhaps catch a glimpse of the
elusive Chobe Bushbuck that are prevalent on the property.
Day trips to the Victoria Falls can also be easily arranged.
Croc Farm and Snake park:
Visits to the local Crocodile Farm and Snake Park can be arranged.
