Grassed individual campsites with their own braai, water and electrical points are provided. Or sleep soundly in cozy tiled chalets with African cane furniture and three quarter size beds, each with its own electrical supply and a tea/coffee facility.


Enjoy hot showers in our spacious tiled ablution block. Perhaps you would prefer to relax in our luxurious Woodlands Cottage or one of our new Riverview rooms which are beautifully furnished and decorated. Comfortable 3/4 beds with fresh, crisp linen and clean en-suite facilities are gratefully appreciated after a long journey.

All units are fully equipped for self-catering. Also available for your convenience are pre-cooked/frozen meals, braai packs, wood, ice, refreshments as well as other basic food commodities. Breakfast packs for the early traveller are available.


Woodlands Cottage:

Our luxurious 2 bedroom cottage is nestled amongst the trees along the banks of the Tati River. This cottage overlooks a secluded private braai area with visibilty to the river. A wonderful full length veranda offers space and privacy.

On entering you are surrounded by local art pieces and Rhodesian teak furniture creating a homely atmosphere. For the chilly months this cottage offers an attractive fireplace. The spacious kitchen will delight the caterer and family alike and the two bedrooms have two 3/4 beds each and their own bathroom en-suite.

Riverview Rooms

Overlooking the Tati River are beautifully furnished and decorated. Comfortable 3/4 beds with fresh, crisp linen and clean en-suite facilities are gratefully appreciated after a long journey. Serviced daily.
Each room has a user friendly kitchenette containing a fridge, kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery

Campsite Chalets

Situated amongst the campsites hence their name. These are comfortable chalets which have 2 x 3/4 beds with linen provided. Each chalet has it's own braai facilities. Enjoy a hot shower in our spacious ablution area.


Deck Rooms

Nestled away at the bottom of the campsite and away from all the activity this beautifully furnished room takes on the full flavour of a deck cabin offering all the comforts of a room. It sleeps two people on three-quarter teak framed beds.

Complimentary tea/coffee is offered but there is no fridge or other cooking facilities/utilities other than a private and secluded braai area. It does not have en-suite facilities so as for the moment you would make use of the communal ablution block. Private parking is adjacent to the room.

Birdwatching is a great way to unwind. A large variety of Botswana bird species can be viewed here at Woodlands Cottage.


Experience the call, in the summer months, of the migrant Woodlands Kingfisher who nest here annually and after which the stop over is named. Animals which are frequently sighted or heard are Kudu, Impala, Bush buck, Duiker, Steenbok, Jackal and monkeys.

Lovely walks along the river bank and within easy walking distance are the selolwe ruins a National Monument site.

Visit the Old Hunters' Road wall situated at the entrance to Woodlands. Situated on the site of the original "Hunters' Road" previously travelled by hunters, naturalists, explorers and missionaries on their way to the Victoria Falls in the 18th Century an interesting expedition.
