Welcome to Drifters Maun Lodge
This camp is situated 30 kilometres east of Maun on the banks of the seasonal Boteti river. We offer an exclusive, quiet, uncrowded, beautiful, treed site for those who wish to stay in the vicinity of Maun.
This camp offers one of the cleanest and comfortable camping facilities in the region. It is also one of the only camp sites where you can camp on our lawn.
Our ablutions are first class and all facilities are serviced by our own clean, on-site borehole.
A main social boma with bar and swimming pool is available and meals may be arranged on request. This camp is ideal as a base camp for those adventurous individuals who wish to explore the Maun, Moremi, Savuti and Chobe National Parks, as well as the central Kalahari and Makgadikgadi areas.
An oasis in the Kalahari Desert conveniently located on the banks of the Boteti River, the Drifters Maun Lodge offers any visitor to Botswana the opportunity to relax and unwind under the shady camel thorn trees that cover green lawns and tranquil gardens.
Situated on the A3 Maun – Nata road, the lodge is just 30KM east of Maun and offers guests 10 twin-bedded tented units in a scenic natural environment. Being close to Maun it provides the ideal stopover for travellers en-route to or from the wilderness areas of the Maun or the National Parks.
Drifters also offer fully guided private tours to the National Parks of Botswana and other places of interest for small groups of 2 to 12 guests. For those more adventurous travellers the lodge also offers camping with clean ablution facilities. Rid yourself of the dust of a day’s exploring under a warm shower and enjoy a catered meal at our lodge restaurant.

A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation with balance payable 10 weeks before your travel date. Bank transfer, credit and debit cards accepted for pre-bookings. Paypal available on request.
