Reviews of Thamalakane Safari Lodge in Maun Botswana

The lodge is close to Maun. I stayed over in this lodge for a night when I was on my way to Moremi. The camp location was great for camping, it had power points and a tap. There was hot water and the ablution blocks were clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant was divine. As the sun was setting the hippos we grunting, it just made the night perfect. There was a new pool and the rooms also looked stunning. I would love to book one of the riverview rooms when I return.

After a long flight we went to rest at the lodge and it was luckily close to the airport. The layout is great, with it being near the river and having wonderful river views. There was some negativity with all the bugs in the rooms and spider webs looked like they have been there for ages. The reception was a bit messed up but the restaurant was quite nice and staff was averagely friendly at times.
