Upstairs twin bedroom of the 4 person suite of containing 4 main rooms. This apartment occupies the entire first floor and it really is a home away from home.

Twin beds provide for adults travelling alone, or children. Bright and sunny rooms and a village outlook from every room, combine to provide an enticing theme so you'll get into holiday mode in no time at all!

Upstairs queen bedroom suite. The corner bedroom, with a view straight up Hampden Road to the centre of the Village, but it's quiet, the 40km speed limit respected by only local traffic. The narrow streets of the 200 year old village show off some of Hobart's most expensive Properties. Local walks, galleries and the famous Kelleys Steps lead to the heart of Hobart's Waterfront, just minutes away. Immaculate antique furniture compliments the experience at Grand Old Duke.

Upstairs large separate lounge with beautiful furniture TV, DVD player. This is probably the best dedicated lounge available in Battery Point. Once you find this gem, you'll want apartment 1 every time. For couples travelling together, the extra value to be had by taking two apartments and opening the interlinked double locked doors, will provide you with space to relax and reflect on every day of your visit. For those who require entertaining space for local family and friends, the lounge is a perfect choice, subject to availability.

This upstairs apartment 1 has a fully appointed kitchen with gas range and full size fridge, so it's the place for preparing your own meals from fresh Tasmanian produce, perhaps Tassie scallops or seafood, bought minutes away at the working Port of Hobart.

Apartment Two

Downstairs four-poster queen bed, separate Lounge, full bathroom and galley kitchen with level access direct from the car park at the back door, subject to availability.

This, the cutest of the rooms, provides a perfect space for those with romantic notions. Ideal for just two, but can be joined with either apartment for couples travelling together.

Apartment Three

Downstairs apartment with queen bed, separate lounge, tea and coffee making facilities.

With level, front and rear access from the street you'll be all set for a quick getaway to the Salamanca Place and the Saturday Market or just across the road to the Village Store for the paper, or a hearty breakfast.

Just inside from the private courtyard garden, the 'tea room' of apartment 3 has tea and coffee making, microwave and fridge and access through a sparkling shower room to the Grand, Four Poster Bedroom.

The rear hallway is shared with apartment 1 and the original entranceway to the colonial building with it's ornate decor, can be shared with apartment 2 for two couples travelling together, this unique arrangement means up to eight people can have 'the run of the house' and enjoy staying in a Mansion, right in the heart of Battery Point.
