The Accommodation
With six types of accommodation to choose from and space for as many as 246 guests, Rottnest Lodge is versatile enough to fulfil a wide variety of guest needs. Our serviced apartments are perfect for families and groups while our 12 premium rooms feature balconies with views over the lake. The Quods are great for friends, accommodating from 2 to 6 people.

Rottnest Lodge is rich in history too – built in 1864, it was once the summer residence of the Governor of Western Australia. The hotel now boasts an exciting new Italian eatery, which opened in summer 2012, serving authentic wood fired pizzas and proper pasta recipes from the old country. Add to this an expansive pool area for setting back with a signature cocktail in hand plus a host of fun activities and you have the perfect setting for an island escape.

Deluxe Room
These rooms are located in the historic “Palm Court” area, attached to the main lodge building with french doors that open out onto a shared verandah area.The deluxe rooms house a queen and single bed, wicker lounge, coffee table, ceiling fan, writing desk, ensuite with shower, wardrobe, small refrigerator, television with video on demand system (pay to view movies), 5 Foxtel channels and 5 commercial television stations, IDD telephone, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, french doors that open out onto a shared verandah area. These rooms are located in the historic “Palm Court” area, attached to the main lodge building.

Lakeside Standard Room
Built in 1989, these rooms are close to the “Garden Lake” and are separated from the Lodge main building.
Our standard lakeside rooms contain a queen size and single bed, lounge area, with two wicker arm chairs, coffee table, writing desk, ceiling fan, private balcony, en suite with shower, closet area small refrigerator, television with video on demand system (pay to view movies), 5 Foxtel channels and 5 commercial television stations, IDD telephone, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and ironing facilities.

Premium Lakeside
The Premium Lakeside Rooms are our superior level accommodation.Twelve of our rooms overlooking the inland lakes have been refurbished offering understated luxury.Featuring a luxurious king size bed, day bed, modern contemporary bathroom, all with quality designer furnishings and fittings in warm neutral tones these rooms provide the ideal escape to island time.

The rooms also feature private balcony overlooking the Governors lake, refrigerator, television with video on demand system (pay to view movies), 5 Foxtel channels and 5 commercial television stations, IDD telephone, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and ironing facilities.

Quod Room
The rooms have the original thick walls keeping them cool in summer and warm in winter and are rich in history. The rooms have and ensuite with shower, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, small refrigerator, IDD telephone, Television with five commercial channels and five Foxtel channels.

Standard Room
These rooms are located in the historic “Palm Court” area, attached to the main Lodge building.
One queen size bed (double) or two single beds (twin), ensuite with shower, ceiling fan, writing desk, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities small refrigerator, IDD telephone, television with video on demand system (pay to view movies), 5 Foxtel channels and 5 commercial television stations.
