Welcome! From Clarry Evans I am the proprietor of Minto Budget Colonial Accommodation and I feel fortunate to be able to provide this gorgeous heritage-listed house for weary travellers on a budget. Like most people who stay here, I too have travelled extensively and so have a fair idea what our guests will expect.

My number one belief is that if you put young (and not so young) people from many countries and walks of life under one roof, only good things will follow. Everyone at Minto works hard to make your stay an enjoyable one. Staying at Minto Budget Colonial Accommodation is an opportunity to experience the colonial charm of our hostel. As it's close to UQ, the CBD and universities, it is an ideal place for business, touring or education within the Brisbane area.

Typical double or twin room (up to 3 people). Room includes double bed, refrigerator, television, desk and chair. Refurbished to add colour, warmth and humour, but kept with original decor and finishing to the colonial style of the building.

Typical budget – single or bunk bed (2 people). All rooms have opening windows with plenty of light and views. Spacious rooms with great colonial features and architecture. This is a great room option for those travelling with a friend but still want privacy from other guests.
