Camp at the water's edge on the northern side of Cockatoo Island and experience the magic of the harbour.

The campground has fabulous harbour views towards Hunters Hill and the Parramatta River.

The camping site includes an unpowered 4m x 4m site, suitable for the maximum of four people. Remember to bring your torch. Sleeping bags and mats can be hired from the Accommodation Office and ice can be purchased on the island.

There is a large camping kitchen available which includes 10 x BBQ areas, a fridge, microwave and a zip boiling water system. Campers need to supply their own cooking utensils, cutlery and plates.

The camp ground has a range of products for hire including sleeping mats, sleeping bags, pillows, towels, chairs and tennis equipment along with a small variety of toiletries, ponchos and torches for sale.

The campground is located on the northern apron of the island and the area is flat with good wheelchair access around the campground. There is an accessible toilet and shower, however please be aware there is a step into the tents which is not suitable for wheelchair access.
