1888 Eatery & Bar is currently serving breakfast and a light evening menu in a rustic and contemporary setting, located in the heart of 1888 Hotel. Our breakfast buffet is opulent and our evening dishes homely, making your experience at 1888 comfortable and memorable.

We’ve focused on using ingredients that are both ethically and sustainably sourced. All our dishes are inspired from an era when food was less conservative and more about wholesomeness. Our menus are stripped back and each dish emphasises one element to further extend our philosophy of simplicity. We try not to hide our food under any pretentious garnish.

1888 has teamed up with the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, just a short stroll from the hotel.
We have FREE passes that you can pick up at reception before going for a run or a swim!

Parking is available at Wilson Harbourside Car Park located across the street from the hotel. We can offer you parking at $39.00 for 24 hours and it allows you to enter and exit as many times as you like.
